THE LION KING

Friday night I had the chance to take the boys to go see The Lion King at the Capitol Theatre.  My favorite uncle Dean had purchased tickets and wasn't able to use them.  Das had his best friend Dan in town, so it worked out perfect.  He went out with Dan for the night and I took the kids to do this.  We met my parents for dinner at Sylvetres first.  And then headed down town.  The seats were the best in the house.  We had front row seats and on the end.  The boys absolutely loved it.  Tristan kept asking me when the curtains went down,"Mom, is it over?" And when I would tell him no he would then turn back to the stage and sigh, "ok Good!" lol  And at the end, Ashton told me that it was a really cool movie.  I enjoyed it myself.  Really glad I got to take them to see it and spend a night with my boys.  Thanks Uncle Dean!  We Love You!
(unfortunately, I didn't bring the camera, so these are the best pics my phone would take.)

Kindergarten Baby

I can't believe Tristan started kindergarten yesterday!!!
I think I was more nervous than he was.
He did say when we were walking there that his tummy hurt.  I told him it was okay to be nervous and that everything would be ok.  I was glad I was wearing my sunglasses.lol
He stood in line very patiently waiting for his teacher to lead them in.  He loved his day.  He has already passed off two book and is excited to do his homework.  It is so much fun to see him grow and his eagerness to learn as much as he can.  It is going to be a fun year for him.
Crashed out boys after a long day of playing...

WEADS for WEAVES.....

So every day I try and get out and do a little yard work. However, our yard is so big, and we have so many flower beds, that in this hot weather and me being pregnant, I can't stay out very long.  As you can see in this pic, our weeds did especially well this year.  I was able to pull alot before, but still had half the yard to do.  I had basically just given up on the backyard.  Until a couple of days ago my sweet neighbor Lorilee came over and said her girls wanted to do trade with me.  They all wanted their hair done and in return they would come dig out all of my weeds.
When I got home from my doctors appointment yesterday, they were hard at work.  I barely recognized my back yard.  We have some beautiful plants growing that were hidden by weeds.  Lorilee, Staci, and Mallisa filled the garbage can at least 10 times full of weeds and took them to a trailor they had across the street.
It was such a great trade.  I got to do what I love and get to know these girls a little more.  And in return, I can walk around my yard now without the anxiety I had before.
And on top of all that, her other kids came over to mow the lawn and trim around the edges.  They wanted to allow Das more time to spend with us when he was in town.
We are truely blessed to have such wonderful neighbors.

24th of July with the Love Family

On the 24th we had Jason and Mia Love with their adorable kids over for a bbq and fireworks.  Unfortunately my camera battery died, so I didn't get to take very many pics.
And apparently I was blind and didn't see that all pics I took of their family captured the flash in the window.
The day on the 24th was quite hectic.  Das was up on the roof all day fixing the swamp cooler in the hot heat.  And to top that off, I had run over something in his car that ruined the tire.  We were stressed and a little grumpy.  So it was so nice to have friends over to take our mind off of earlier events.  After dinner we played some cards games.  Jason and I partnered up and we ended up letting Das and Mia win cuz we are cool like that.;)
Das and Jason.  Aren't they cute?!
Mia and I.  Even cutter!  Except my prego belly.
I'm loving the new bench Das bought me for my front porch so I could sit and watch the kids run around the neighborhood.
Sorry Das, this picture was better of me, Tristan and Ashton.  Maybe you can crop a better photo of you in later. lol  Hope everyone enjoyed their Pioneer Day like we did.

DayBreak Lake and Park

Friday night we went up to the lake to feed the ducks and relax.  These ducks are so aggressive.  The boys get scared and wont even feed them anymore cuz they kept getting their fingers bit.  I was even a little scared.  Before we even pulled the bread out we had a huge goose following us.  One was going after Ashton so aggressivly that I had to kick it away....twice!  I felt bad but the duck almost got his face.
We then walked up to the neat park they have.  This twisty thing was their favorite.  Das would put each of them on and it would start to turn.  Das would then give it a little push and the boys would go flying off.  We love how close we are to DayBreak and the District.  It was a great Friday night.  I got videos but can't figure out how to upload them here.  Keeps saying there is an error.  So I posted them on facebook.=)

Half way HUGE!

Only twenty more weeks to go.  If I am this big all ready....I am scared to see how big I am when I deliver. lol  This pregnancy has been different all together.  Got bigger faster, not as sick in the beginning, feeling the baby move earlier, and a cute husband that takes such good care of me with quick trips the the store, and back rubs.

CABIN FEVER!!!

This past weekend we headed up to our cabin for a great time.  And it was a GREAT time!  We headed up Friday after our ultrasound (which everything looked great btw).  Keli rode up with us and Ratha, Racie, and Alma weren't far behind.  We got settled then sat around and chatted before hitting the sack.  The next morning we woke up and drove to Smith and Morehouse for some fishing.
The boys had such a great time....until they lost patience with not catching anything.  But the weather was nice and cool and the view amazing.
Ratha and Racie brought their puppy Maverick up.  He is such a good dog.  He kept them busy most of the time.  The next morning Ratha, Keli, and Alma woke up at 6 am to get some more fishing in.  To early for the rest of us.

We hung around for several hours just enjoying each others company.  No one really caught anything.  Das and Keli both caught one but they were to small to keep.
Das would cast out for the boys and let them real it in.
So in LOVE!
Like FATHER Like SON!
Part of their family.
Tristan and Ashton found a new best friend in Alma.  He had set up his nintendo for them a couple of days before so they decided they really liked him.  But what's not to like?
When we got back to the cabin, the Jettie kids decided to pull out Pete's guns and do a little target shooting.
They set some bottles up the hill to aim for.  Alma is quite the shot.
And Keli just looks cute.=)  I think she actually hit several too.
Around lunch time our friends showed up to play.  Brad, Vanessa, Gabriel, and Isabella.  Such a beautiful family!
We sat around and let the boys take turns with the ax.  Quite entertaining!

Then it was time for S'Mores!!!
We then went inside and played some card games and talked.  Woke up the next morning and just relaxed before we packed up and headed home.
The Jettie Clan
I am so thankful for the wonderful people in my life and the time we get to spend together.  This has been one of our greatest weekends yet.  Can't wait to spend more time at the cabin and with the ones we love!  Thanks everyone for making it such a special weekend.
