For those of you on facebook, I am sure you saw this already.  Das had just run down to the car to grab some stuff.  Out the window I saw some cop cars drive along the beach.  So I stepped out on our patio to check it out.  To my surprise I saw a car in the ocean.  This isn't the best pic.  You can see the police cars shining a spotlight on the car.  I hurried and called Das telling him a car was out their.  He thought I had gone crazy.  He got up there and was shocked to see it as well.  The car kept sinking.  It was a nice yellow convertible.  Some out of stater had rented it and was dared to drive along the beach.  They obviously fled the scene.  It was so crazy to see it.

Sea World

 This is our day at Sea World.  We took so many pictures and videos that I obiously cant post them all.  We started off by going to all the shows-Sea otters, dolpins, and Shamu.  Tristan and Ashton couldn't wait to see the sharks.  So we spent a lot of time there.

They have put in several rides since I was there.  I wish I could have ridden them.  Tristan was so scared so we had Ashton ride with Das first.  We promised Tristan he wouldn't have to ride this roller coaster if Ashton hated it.  Das said Ashton was very excited when they got on but the look of fright came at the top of the coaster.  I guess it was faster than we thought.  When they pulled back in I asked Ashton if he had fun?  He yelled NO and wouldn't talk to Das for a bit after. lol  Tristan wouldn't ride it.

                           

                         We then went to a 3D show.  This was great!  Things flew right at our faces, and then are would shoot out, or water would spray on us.  The boys thought it was scary and kept taking their glasses off.

                            

Our last ride was the rapids.  I snuck on this one.  But yet I couldn't sneak onto the tea cups.  STUPID! 

Tristan was a little worried about the huge waterfal coming up, about to soak us all.  Das gets a good laugh when they are frightened.

                           

Das got some great pictures.  The day was a lot of fun.  I am glad we didn't end up doing Disney Land though.  I was hurting after walking around so much at Sea World.  

San Diego....So far....

Our trip to San Diego has been so much fun!  This is a view from our condo.  Right on the beach....so nice!  We got in yesterday and just relaxed after the drive.  We left Tuesday night, drove to St. George and stayed at the condo there.  Woke up early Wednesday and drove straight here.  The boys did really well.  And so far, my feet haven't swollen up.

This morning we went down to the beach.  It's been cloudy and a little chilly, but it was still beautiful.

The kids had a fun time building sand castles.   I would have been more help, if I could get off the towel easier.lol

Das thought it was funny to throw the frisbees into the water.  Tristan and Ashton kept freaking out that they were gonna be lost.  so after a few times of them crying, he would just start going over to the frisbees and pretending like he was gonna do it.  At one point Ashton was gonna sit on them.  It was pretty funny.

Tristan didn't think so though. lol

After we showered we headed over to La Jolla to check out the seals.  Gotta love my huge belly in this photo.  I could go lay with the seals, and you wouldn't be able to find me. hehe  We actually ran into a friend of mine, Talia, from high school.  So crazy to see someone miles away from home, who I haven't seen in ten years in my own state.

We are loving every minute of our trip.  I am so thankful to be able to travel with my family to so many different places.  Life doesn't get any better than to have my husband by my side, and my wonderful boys along for the ride.  I wouldn't want it any other way.  Next trip we will need a bigger car though.:)



Charity Function

Our friend Christy has a charity function at the school she works for each year.  This is the 2nd time we have gone, and we always have a great time.  It's nice to catch up with everyone.  Especially since we are all popping out babies. lol

The function starts out as a silent auction.  Everyone puts together some sort of basket to bid on.  There were so many great things.  Many Utah bags put together.  We didn't see any for the Y....I wonder why? lol  Then they serve dinner, and do dancing afterwards.  The food was pretty good, but the company was better.  We appreciate the support we have gotten from our friends for the changes we have made in our life.  It is important to have those people in our lives.  I am also very proud of my husband for the choices he has made this year to strengthen our family.  He is such a strong and loving man and I am lucky to have him.  Family should always come first, and he has always put us first regardless of other things going on.  We have so much to look forward to.  And Das has already proven to be a wonderful father.  The boys absolutely adore him.  And this little boy will as well.  Our friends are throwing us a couples shower next month, more for his benefit.  Such an exciting time.  Thank you Das for all you do!  We love you!

Kiddies at the Korn Maze

Last night we took the boys to the corn maze out by us.  Tristan was excited.....at first.

But as we were walking to get our tickets, the scary crew came out of the trailor and walked right past us.  There were about twenty of them with freaky masks on, and everyone of them looked down at the boys as they passed.  Das thought it was funny to push Tristan into them.  And Ashton emediatly crossed to my other side to hold my hand.

The beginning of the corn maze, and Ashton was already freaking out.  Tristan was a little unsure.

Das threw him on his shoulders, and he held on for dear life.  We had to turn around and ask for our money back.

Ashton had this look the whole way to the car. lol  It was a lot of fun though.



Our Little Soccer Boys

Tristan and Ashton started soccer last week.  We have games Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

 They both seem to really love it.  

My brother Mark is the coach of Ashton's team.  His triplet boys are on that team as well.  They played last year and are really good.  Tristan and Ashton haven't learned yet how to get in there.  But they are learning fast.  I don't think Ashton likes all the other little kids pushing him to get to the ball.  I asked him if he had fun after his first game.  He told me yes. So I asked him if he was excited for his next game and he said no. lol "Mommy, I don't like fighting over the ball." he said.  But when he gets the ball, he is a great kicker and runner.  I am glad we signed them up.  But my weeks just got hectic, and no more sleeping in on Saturdays with Das for a few weeks.:(

This is the moon taken around 6.  The sun was still up.

This was still early in the evening, but I couldn't get a good pic with the flash.  The fire just coming over the mountain.  By the end of the night, it had consumed the whole side.

The last days?

What a tragedy!  We were just outside the evacuation zone.  I drove up through Herriman before it came over the mountain and it was creepy.  My heart goes out to those who lost their homes.
