The Grand America Hotel

Valentines is a wonderful holiday....but I am not big on it.  I've always asked Das to please not spend any money on me.  And I hate going to eat on that day.  Too long of a wait everywhere.  I'd rather spend a quiet evening at home and go out another night.  So when Das told me he had training downtown during the week, we decided to get a room.  His trainings were at the Grand America.  So we headed down Monday night to this beautiful hotel.  The room was huge!  And this was just a regular room.  One of the fanciest I have ever seen.  We had a wonderful time.
The boys had their own little room.  They took advantage of that.  They also discovered the mini bar....and I had to keep a close eye on them after that. lol
While Das went to work Tuesday, I took the boys down swimming.  They could spend hours and hours at the pool, but Logan and I just weren't feeling it.
But we stayed for a little longer.  Check out the reflection of the water on their backs.  There was also a reflection on the ceilings that they were a little weirded out by.  In order to get to this pool, you had to go through their spa, and then take an elevator to the pool.  It cost an extra ten dollars a day to go to the pool and spa.  Das took advantage of that later by heading down to the steam room.
After swimming, my sister in law, Racie came and met us for lunch.  We headed over to The Spaghetti Factory (one of our favorites) for lunch....for her Birthday.  Happy Birthday Beautiful!  She then came back to the room to keep us entertained. Or keep me entertained. Look how dang cute these two boys are.  I can't wait for them to grow up together and be the best of friends.
Little Logan after a bath
We had a wonderful time all though Das had lost his voice, Logan had a crummy cough, and Tristan and Ashton were on antibiotics for ear infections.  I love my family and friends.  We hope you all enjoyed valentines day and were able to share it with the ones you love.  We love you all!

Logan's Baby Blessing

Sunday was a special day.  We blessed our beautiful baby.  Logan is my first child that wasn't blessed by my father.  My dad gave Tristan and Ashton wonderful blessings.  And Das gave Logan such a beautiful blessing.  A few people got lost and unfortunately didn't make the blessing.  There was quite a bit of confusion to how far away our ward is from our home.  But we still had quite a large group.  And since we knew that we would have so many people come, we knew our house wouldn't accomodate that many.
So my brother Mark and his wife Alysa, were kind enough to open up the spacious and beautiful home for this occassion.  It was also nice that they live so close.
My mom bought Logan the cuttest blessing outfit with the cuttest tie.  Hopefully when we get sealed in a couple of months, it will still fit him.
Everyone brought a dish to share.  There was tons of yummy food!  Salads, dips, pastas, desserts.  My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Das, Logan, and Steve.
Keli enjoying the tasty dishes.
Das and his older sister Mirabai.
Jason and Mia Love with their adorable kids.

The Freeman clan.
The Proud Papa
Thanks to everyone who came to this joyous event.  We have such a wonderful family and we are so thankful for all that they do.  I love coming from a family that is so close.

8 Weeks Old

Time is still flying.  And our little man has changed so much.  He is starting to smile and coo.  We are pretty sure he is gonna have blue eyes.  And he is definitely filling out.
What a wonderful family we have.  I love my boys and all the messiness that comes with them.....most of the time.;)  But really, I wouldn't have it any other way.

WALTER

If any of you have seen Jeff Dunham the comedian, you will know how funny he is.  He brings out all sort of puppets and is one of the best ventriliquists i've seen.  His puppets are, Nochmed the terrifying terroist, Jose the Jalepeno, and our favorite....Walter.  He is a grumpy old man that is just rude to all the other puppets.  He cracks me up.  So when Logan gets upset, we see quite a resemblence.  He gets this little pouty lip and his mouth curves down.  We call him "our little Walter."

Always Growing...and Growing...And Growing

Last week I noticed Tristans tooth was coming in behind his baby tooth.  I was worried he was gonna have to have it pulled.  But luckily it kept loosening over the week.  Then last night I tried my job at pulling it.  I onl got one shot at it and I failed.  But it was hanging on by a thread.  Tristan went to bed complaining it hurt and then came out ten minutes later so excited that he pulled it out.  His first tooth!  The tooth fairy came, and he has been so excited to have gotten 5 dollars.  He has been carrying it around with him all day.

This moring was haircut morning.  Tristan, Ashton and Das were looking a little shaggy.  But Ashton couldn't put the WII down for fifteen minutes for me to cut it.  At least it kept him entertained.  I can't believe how big my boys are.  It feels like yesterday they were as little as Logan.  Someone please slow down time!!!

DA BEARS!

Touch Down!  Keep on Rollin!

All Dogs Go To Heaven

A Tribute to Thor....or as Pete use to call him, Siberian Prick.  Thor joined the Jettie family in 1996 as a little pup.  He was 14 years old and lived a good long life for a dog.  It is always so hard to lose a pet, and even harder when you have to put them down.  He was a great dog.  The family will miss him dearly.  But we know he is now with Pete in a better place.
Pete use to say,"Thor sheds enough hair to weave an Indian blanket." I wonder what he would say about Alma's porn star shirt. lol Love ya Alms!;)
He loved to chase cars and drove the neighbors crazy.  He was great with children and Tristan and Ashton loved to sit and pet him.
If he had a plate of food in front of him, he would growl if you got near it.  Alma cooked him a steak for his last meal.  And even though he was hard of hearing, he still growled at them yesterday when they tried to touch his dish.
We will always love you Thor and will be missed!  Give Pete hell for us!
