Saint George...Oh So Nice!

We had the chance to go to Saint George this past weekend and stay at my parents condo.  Das took Friday and Monday off of work and we headed down after breadfast on Friday.  We invited Das's brother Ratha and wife Racie to join us.  We both got there around two and instantly took advantage of getting away.  Racie and I took the boys swimming, while Das and Ratha went to play tennis.  This was the first time Logan and Boston had been swimming.  They were both so cute, but didn't last very long in the cold pool.
After breakast Saturday morning, we packed up to go for a hike.  None of us were sure how the babies would do, so we didn't want to go on to big of one.  We found a hiking trail real close to the condo and headed out.
We expected warm weather, but what we got was perfect.  Not to hot, but warm enough to wear short and short sleaves.  Even the babies got to show off their cute chubby legs.
I love these baby carriers!  And both babies really enjoyed them as well.  I think though if it had been any hotter.....it wouldn't have been as great.  Both dad and baby would be sweaty.
When were weren't hiking, or swimming, we were relaxing at the condo.  I wanted to follow the routine Racie has for Boston.  She has got him sleeping through the night and I am jealous.  She also brought down this fun little toy.  I am going to go buy one this week.  Logan loved it.  I can already tell that these boys are going to have so much fun together.  Racie and I headed over to Old Navy to do a little shopping while Das and Ratha took Tristan and Ashton to the park.  I am so lucky to have Racie as my sister in law.  We have become really close this past year and it has been so much fun getting to know her better, as well as share many mommy moments.  I look forward to many more.
Sunday morning Ratha and Racie packed their stuff up to go home.  We were sad to see them go.  But we wanted to spend a little more time with them, so we headed to the park.  Racie and I sat and talked while the boys were boys.
Love it!  We have such fun husbands that keep us entertained.
Sunday afternoon Das and I took the boys swimming again.  The boys are both doing so well.  They both were swimming across the pool with just little help.  They love to swim to Das so he can throw them in the air.    We swam for a couple of hours and then went back to order chinese food and we rented Megamind for the boys.  Monday we woke up and started cleaning and packing to head home.  We are so lucky to have my parents place to go every now and then to get away.  We love spending time together as a family and try to do it as often as possible.  I can't wait for our next trip.

Logan....3 1/2 months!!!

Logan is growing and changing every day.  He loves to hold his hands together.  I pulled out Baby Motzart the other day and he absolutely loved it.  It is so much fun to watch his little faces during it.  This is him so mesmorized with the toys and music on the tv.  Mommy loves this because for a half hour I can get some stuff done and not just stick him in his swing.
The boys are really good to help out with him.  Sometimes to good.lol  While I am excersing, they crowd around him and place all his toys by him.  He really liked this bunny rabbit.
I am also getting better at tummy time.  Usually when he is awake, Das and I are holding him.

Each day he is getting better and better at keeping his head up.
And right after I took these pictures, I left to put the camera away.  When I came back, he had rolled over onto his back.  So sad I missed it!  Logan is such a joy in our home.  The boys love to copy what I do to get him to laugh.  And are more than willing to entertain him while I get stuff done.  I love my little boys!
I had to add this picture of Ashton.  He is our little Justin Beiber.  He wears his jacket all day long with the hood always up.  The boys go around the house singing..."Baby Baby Baby Oh!"  And they are actually quite good.=)  They don't get that from me. lol

The Melting Pot

Sunday night my ex husband came into town to see Tristan and Ashton.  Das and I took advantage and got a room downtown at the Radisson Monday night.  We headed down right around check in time.  After we checked in, we called and made reservations for The Melting Pot.  We had never tried it before and heard it was a really fun place to go.
The beds were sleep number beds.  We could adjust them to the firmness or softness that we wanted.  It was pretty cool.  Here is Das getting his groove on with his sleep number bed.  More to come on the sleep number bed further down you read. lol (not what you think people)
We had dressed up for the night, fed Logan so he wouldn't interupt our meal, and as were about to put him in his car seat.....BLAH.....All over Das and his nice shirt.  Logan is not much of a spitter upper, so I am guessing we fed him way to much, and someone didn't burp him well enough......Das!  Logan ended up sleeping all through dinner.   Which was great since its a 3 hour ordeal.
I didn't realize that each table has there very own burner.  They started out by bringing us salad and a cheese fondue.  To dip in the cheese they brought raw vegetables, bread, and apples.  This was all going to nicely until Das dropped a carrot into the cheese.  He kept stabbing at it and pushed so hard on the bowl that the top came flying off.  Well, underneath the cheese is hot water.....and that hot water came flying all over me.  I'm just glad it wasn't too hot and that it wasn't the cheese.
After the cheese comes the broth.  They bring out more vegetables to put in the broth to cook while you are cooking your meat as well.  The meats they brought out were duck, beaf, chicken, lobster, and shrimp.  Yummy!  But by this time, we were stuffed.  So much for my diet!
But it didn't matter when they brought this out with the chocolate sauce to dip.  The brownies were my favorite....oh and the marshmallows.

When we got back to the room, we were gonna rent a movie, but Das fell asleep.  I don't blame him since we had just stuffed our faces.  We were planning on putting Logan in one bed, and us in the other.  But since he fell alseep....I thought I would try and be funny by changing his sleep number mattress to the firmest it would go.  He noticed it around 3 AM. lol  I on the other hand slept very comfy on my soft mattress next to Logan.
We really had a great time, and I am thankful to have moments like these with my husband.

The Grand America Hotel

Valentines is a wonderful holiday....but I am not big on it.  I've always asked Das to please not spend any money on me.  And I hate going to eat on that day.  Too long of a wait everywhere.  I'd rather spend a quiet evening at home and go out another night.  So when Das told me he had training downtown during the week, we decided to get a room.  His trainings were at the Grand America.  So we headed down Monday night to this beautiful hotel.  The room was huge!  And this was just a regular room.  One of the fanciest I have ever seen.  We had a wonderful time.
The boys had their own little room.  They took advantage of that.  They also discovered the mini bar....and I had to keep a close eye on them after that. lol
While Das went to work Tuesday, I took the boys down swimming.  They could spend hours and hours at the pool, but Logan and I just weren't feeling it.
But we stayed for a little longer.  Check out the reflection of the water on their backs.  There was also a reflection on the ceilings that they were a little weirded out by.  In order to get to this pool, you had to go through their spa, and then take an elevator to the pool.  It cost an extra ten dollars a day to go to the pool and spa.  Das took advantage of that later by heading down to the steam room.
After swimming, my sister in law, Racie came and met us for lunch.  We headed over to The Spaghetti Factory (one of our favorites) for lunch....for her Birthday.  Happy Birthday Beautiful!  She then came back to the room to keep us entertained. Or keep me entertained. Look how dang cute these two boys are.  I can't wait for them to grow up together and be the best of friends.
Little Logan after a bath
We had a wonderful time all though Das had lost his voice, Logan had a crummy cough, and Tristan and Ashton were on antibiotics for ear infections.  I love my family and friends.  We hope you all enjoyed valentines day and were able to share it with the ones you love.  We love you all!

Logan's Baby Blessing

Sunday was a special day.  We blessed our beautiful baby.  Logan is my first child that wasn't blessed by my father.  My dad gave Tristan and Ashton wonderful blessings.  And Das gave Logan such a beautiful blessing.  A few people got lost and unfortunately didn't make the blessing.  There was quite a bit of confusion to how far away our ward is from our home.  But we still had quite a large group.  And since we knew that we would have so many people come, we knew our house wouldn't accomodate that many.
So my brother Mark and his wife Alysa, were kind enough to open up the spacious and beautiful home for this occassion.  It was also nice that they live so close.
My mom bought Logan the cuttest blessing outfit with the cuttest tie.  Hopefully when we get sealed in a couple of months, it will still fit him.
Everyone brought a dish to share.  There was tons of yummy food!  Salads, dips, pastas, desserts.  My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Das, Logan, and Steve.
Keli enjoying the tasty dishes.
Das and his older sister Mirabai.
Jason and Mia Love with their adorable kids.

The Freeman clan.
The Proud Papa
Thanks to everyone who came to this joyous event.  We have such a wonderful family and we are so thankful for all that they do.  I love coming from a family that is so close.

8 Weeks Old

Time is still flying.  And our little man has changed so much.  He is starting to smile and coo.  We are pretty sure he is gonna have blue eyes.  And he is definitely filling out.
What a wonderful family we have.  I love my boys and all the messiness that comes with them.....most of the time.;)  But really, I wouldn't have it any other way.
