MEXICO!!!!

Das and I just got home from Mexico late Saturday night. We took this
last trip to celebrate our 1st year anniversary. It's not until April 25th,
but with everything we have going on, we decided to go early.  We left
early Tuesday morning.  It was a long day of traveling, but worth it!
The first thing we did was throw our swimsuits on and head to the beach.

The 2nd day we didn't feel like doing anything but soaking up the sun.
We walked up and down the beach and walk ways. Every where on the
resort there were iguanas. Very large ones. And then people walking
around with monkies to hold. We wanted to adopt this little guy.
He seemed to like my......as much as Das's does. lol
3rd day we took a taxi into Cancun to sit through a 90 minute
presentation on a time share.  It was rediculous, but we saved lots of
money on tickets to Cozumel.  Plus they paid for our cab ride to Cancun.
The beaches there were so blue.  We did some wave jumping then headed
over to the flea market to buy some souvenirs.  That place was a joke to get
out of.  People grabbing us left and right to come into their stores.  But we
got several good deals. Then we went back to the beach and did some people
watching, and more wave jumping.  I could live at the beach.
After getting skin cancer, we took a bus into a reccomended restaurant.
We got shrimp fajitas that were delicious.Very spicey! We had a lot of fun
trying to speak Spanish to everyone. I did pretty good.Das had an easier
time with the people from Canada that spoke French. And they were
every where. But everyone we met was extremely nice.
Except the guy selling us the time share...when we said no. lol
Last day we took the boat over to Cozumel for our snoreling.  It was a little
overcast and rainy for the first little while but cleared up quite nice.
Once in Cozumel we hopped into our snorkeling boat and headed to the coral
reafs.  The water was great and lots of fish.  We even got to see a
baracuda. Once done with our snorkeling we did more shopping and eating.
More great food and very spicey.
Once we got back from Cozumel we got dressed up and went to dinner
for our last night and went to watch the show that the resort puts on
every night.  It was very entertaining to watch them.  Then it was off
to bed just to rise before the sun was up to catch our shuttle to the airport.
It always goes by way to fast.  We had a great time!  I love my husband and
am grateful for all that he does for us.  He is my best friend and I look forward
to many more anniversaries!  Love you Das!
