Day 2 of Thanks!

I am so thankful for my family!  And it comforts me to know we will be together forever.
I am so thankful to have each and everyone of them in my life.  They all have brought different things into my life that I wouldn't want to do with out.
I am thankful I have a family that is so close.  Family comes first and I will always put them first above anything else.  I am thankful for eternal families.  And thankful for the love that each family member brings.

A Month Of Thanks!

I thought the best place to start would be at the beginning.  I am so thankful for my loving parents.  They are the two most amazing people I know.  They have taught me so much and have always been there for me.  I am thankful for all that they have done, and continue to do.  I am thankful for their love for one another, and their love of the gospel.  I could never thank them enough for all they do.  They devote their live to their children and have been such great examples to me.  Thanks Mom and Dad for everything!

TRICK or TREAT!

I can't believe Halloween is already over.  The boys had such a great time this year.  Last year they were to afraid to do to much trick or treating.  But this year, they filled their baskets.
Tristan went as the Grim Reaper, Ashton as a scary Ninja, and Logan as a ferocious bear.  Do you like the chalk art on my wall?  The boys are so lucky that it washes off.

Das got home from work early to take the boys out, and to experience Logan's first Halloween and Trick or Treating.  We took Zayne, Tristan and Ashton's neighbor friend along with us.  Everyone kept coming out to see Logan's cute costume and to congratulate us on our pregnancy.  Das had to get back to the house to watch some football, so he only did two circles with us.
I took the boys up several more circles, then back around by the bishop's house where we picked up his son Eli, Ashton's best friend, to come trick or treat with us.  I also called Das to have him meet us at the end of our street to pick Logan up.  It was getting chilly.
After one more circle we headed back up to Eli's house to drop him off.  The boys were thrilled about how much candy they got.  It was so much fun to see all the great costumes and house decorations.  Das and I had left our candy out when we all went trick or treating, trusting the kids would only take one.  Das said when he came back he passed two kids(that he didn't know) leaving our house.  One saying..."WOW! That filled up my bag!" lol Sheesh!  Also, when he asked a neighbor child what they were for Halloween they said, "Greedy!" And grabbed a bunch of candy. lol  I didn't get to give out any candy this year.  When we got home, it had all died down.
And I am OK with that.  Das can pass out candy every year.=)  The boys dug into their candy, and have been eating it ever since.  I should probably control their intake a little better....but kind of hard when I am eating it non stop too.  Das was sweet enough to stash some chocolate for me.
Logan was crashed out on the couch when we got back.  He enjoyed his first Halloween.  Time to put the scary decorations away.....and move on to the next Holiday.  Thanksgiving!  I am going to try and blog each day about something I am thankful for.
