Labor Day Weekend 2012

Saturday morning the boys got the chalk out while Das and I planned our grocery list and weekend fun.
They are so fun to watch.  And Logan wanted in on the fun as well.
After lunch we headed to a public pool nearby.  We have tried to go there before, but they were always closed.  It was a fun pool with a huge baby area that was very convenient.  We usually go to Sand Hollow to swim, but we felt it was to hot for little Dallon right now.  This pool worked out better.
After swimming for a couple of hours, the boys chowed down the yummy watermelon that Grandma had left behind for us.
But as soon as they were finished....it was back to the pool.  This time we just went to the indoor pool at the condo.  They could have stayed all day long.
The next day we headed to our new favoite splash pad.  It was hot outside, but not as hot as it was last time we were down.  So for me...it was perfect.
And after the splash pad, we went to the pool at the condo again.
Monday we woke early, cleaned up, and headed out.  I had wanted to stop at this Mexican restauraunt we passed on Main Street.  And I am glad we did.  The food was delicious!  And such a cute joint.

Dallon was so good the whole trip.  He is growing up so fast.
All in all....it was a great and very relaxing trip.  Just what we needed.  It feels good to just get away from home and all the yard work and house work.  And to not have to be any where for a couple of days.  So glad we are able to do that every now and then.  Wish it didn't always go so fast.  We've already planned our next trip.=)
