When you have boys....

If I didn't have a husband who was such a sports fan, and 3 tough little boys, I am not sure I would be attending any sports events.  But I am so happy that I do and I get to spend time with the 4 best guys in the world.
We had been talking all Summer about getting to a Bee's game, but with everything else going on, we never got the chance.  So since this past week was the last week they would be playing, we made sure to get there.  We stopped beforehand to eat at Sugar House BBQ.  The boys love ribs and ate theirs and half of ours.  They are going to eat us out of house and home one day.
And they still had more room in their tummies for a hot dog.  Although Ashton said he didn't want one because he was to busy pouting that he wanted more water.
Sweetest baby alive!  He crashed out for a little bit.  I almost did too.  The beginning of the game was slow and boring.  But in the eighth inning the Bees took the lead!
We walked around the stadium and sat on the grass for a bit while the boys tried to get on the big screen for singing and dancing to take me out to the ballgame....which they did....but for a brief second.  After the game we came home to make sure all our team members had signed up for our fantasy football.....which they hadn't....You know who you are. lol  Glad you all got it taken care of though.  Ladies....lets kick some butt!  Boo Keymasters.....Go Gatekeepers.=)
Thursday night was the Utah game.  Das and I were planning on going to the gym, but skipped it to watch.  Go Utes!  Gonna be a great season.  And so excited to get my kids pumped up about sports.....I mean excited for Das to get the kids pumped up.

Another great cabin Adventure!

Friday afternoon Das and I loaded the car up and headed to the cabin one last time this summer.  We invited our friends The Mansourri's and Johhannesen's to join us.  Kevin and Leesa got up not much longer after us.  Kelly and Joe were a little later.  We grilled some food and sat around enjoying each others company.

Afterwards we headed to the fire pit to roast some S'mores.  We didn't plan on doing a fire the first night, but glad we did since Saturday night it down poured.

After S'mores, we headed in to play some card games.
The next morning, everyone but Logan and I headed for a hike.  It was a shorts one since the kids are all so young.  Tristan was the oldest this trip.  Then Kevin and Leesa brought their youngest Ellie but left Grace at home.  Kelly and Joe had their twins Henry and Alana and their oldest Kira.  They all played very well together.
Later on these boys headed into town while us ladies relaxed.
Then it was more food and more cards.  These trips always go by way to fast.
After the other couple took off, Das and I decided to take advantage of my brothers generosity.  He gave us the keys to his four wheelers that he leaves up there.  We hope to have our own four wheelers next summer.  So we got the boys loaded up and headed down the main road.  We were having a terrific time until Das got pulled over.  Apparently children under 18 have to be wearing helmets.  We did not know this.  But whatever!  We figured those rules couldn't be enforced cuz it was private property.  Turns out it is, except for the road we were on.  Duh!  I got off with a warning, but Das was given two fines since he had Logan and Ashton.  Oh well, we still got a go on a small ride and the boys loved it.  We had a fabulous time with everyone and can't wait to do it again and again!
Das gave Logan a Butterfingers.  He didn't want to touch the chocolate, so he just held it in his mouth.  Such a funny little man he is.
