Cabin!

Growing up every year over the 4th we would attend the Oakley Rodeo.  And many of my siblings have kept the tradition.  Das and I are going to start taking the boys each year.

Rodeo or not, the cabin is the place to be during the 4th of July weekend.
So Das and I headed up for the day on Saturday.  It was a little rainy, but the boys were still able to go for a few four wheeler rides.

After dinner, everyone got their rodeo gear on to head out.
Jordan is a huge Johnny Cash fan like Das.  He insists on calling Dallon-Little Johnny Cash.  Cracks me up.
I think I need to buy Das a cowboy hat.  I think he looks sexy.

This is Tristan pouting cuz he wanted to go to the rodeo.  So sad.  Next year buddy, I promise.  We love spending time with everyone at the cabin.  So thankful for my parents who share it with us.  I have so many memories growing up at the cabin and looking forward to my boys making many memories of their own up there.

Let Freedom Ring!

We had a very chill 4th of July.  Das had purchased some fireworks and the kids started early in the evening lighting them off with the neighbor kids.

And after we grilled some burgers and hot dogs, we headed outside for the big guns.

I love living in a culdesac with such wonderful neighbors.

Logan loves to be out front.  And the neighbor kids are all so cute with him.

After fireworks, Das and I headed inside while Tristan and Ashton continued to terrorize the neighborhood.

I feel so blessed to live in such a wonderful country and to raise my beautiful boys here.  Little Dallon did so well during the fireworks.  I can't believe he is 3 weeks already.

We are so grateful for those who sacrifice their lives for us so that we may be free.  I am proud to be and American!

Summer Fun!

Last weekend Kevin and Leesa invited us over for a BBQ.  Das smoked some salmon to take over that was delicious.  Everyone brought yummy stuff.  The kids had a blast in their backyard chasing the chickens.  Logan was walking around talking to them and petting them.  Ellie got brave and kept picking them up.  And they even sent us home with some eggs.

The kids played really well together while us adults chatted.  We had a really great time.  Thanks for having us!
