Kindergarten Baby No More

Tristan has graduated from kindergarten!  They put together the cutest graduation.  They asked the children to create a morphed animal.  Tristan was a TigerBee.  This is him taking a picture of himself while I am finishing his costume.  Nice shot!
How cute is his little stinger in back.  I am so creative. lol
Ashton, Logan, and I waited in the hallway until the program started.  As soon as Logan sees the red light on the camera, his eyes get big.
I sure love my boys!

When we got in the classroom, the children were lined up according to their habitat.  They each had a pin attached to them that said, "push me."  Once the button was pushed, they had to tell you three things about their morphed animal.  Tristan said, "Tigers are mammals and live in the savanna.  Bees are insects.  Tigers eat meat, and bees make honey.  There were some really creative costumes.  Tristan's was the best though.=)
They then performed a few songs.  My favorite was "I am proud to me an American."
Tristan and his best bud Dash.  Dash was a butterdog.
Tristan took his antennae off and handed it to me.  I put them on Logan to keep him entertained.  So dang cute!  Look at those big blue eye!
The medallion around Tristan's neck is his distinguished dolphin award.  I love Daybreak Elementary.  Other then it being year round, it has been a great school with amazing teachers.
Mrs. Thayer was wonderful with Tristan.  She always would tell me that he was her favorite, but I am sure she tells all the parents that.  I wish Ashton was going to have her next year, but we changed tracks.
I ran into one of Das's friends from high school there.  His daughter was in Tristan's class.  They took this pic for us.

I couldn't contain myself from putting these back on Logan's head.  He just looked so stinkin cute.  I also took the cutest video that I will have to put up.  Congratulations Tristan for making it through your first and easiest year of school.  We love you and are very proud of you!

Good Food + Great Company = Dinner Club

This month was dinner club time.  We originally were scheduled to host it next summer, but we switched with Joe and Kelli.  The weather was great and most everyone was able to make it.
Das wanted to grill some burgers.  I have this really good teriyaki burger recipe that I got from my good friend Jen.  And then I made my fresh salsa, and clam dip.  The food was tasty, even though the grill went up in flames and Das's burgers became extra crispy. lol
These dinner clubs are adults only.  But of course Logan can stay.  We didn't have a place to send Tristan and Ashton so we had my cute neighbor girls play with them out in our circle.  They had a great time as well.

After dinner, we played the newlywed game.  I love to see what everyone comes up with.  We were also going to do karaoke, but the newlywed game took up most of our time.  Thanks to everyone that came.  We enjoy your company.  A few of you have asked for recipes for my salsa and burgers.  I will type them up and email them to you sometime this week.  We are looking forward to our next dinner club!
