He's so smart!

We made it!

We headed out Friday evening around 6:30.  Das said the traffic going south looked pretty bad from what he could tell on his way home from work.  So we decided to take the back road going around Utah Lake.  We were flying.  It looked like it was going to be an easy drive to St. George.  But as soon as we got back onto I-15.....this was the view the rest of the way.  See all those brake lights? Sometimes it was bumper to bumper traffic.
So what should have taken us 4 hours, ended up being 6.  So on top of the horrible traffic, Logan gets car sick.  It seems that we can't drive more than an hour without him throwing up.  So we came prepared with a bucket.  But it doesn't always make it into the bucket.  And usually he only throws up once.  But with the whole stop and go on this drive....he was miserable and puked a second time.
Tristan and Ashton kept themselves pretty entertained.  But they did ask a lot, "Are we there yet?"  And "How much longer?"  Finally they crashed out.  We pulled into home around 1:00am.  Woke up bright and early and looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend!

Sisters!

For the last couple of months my sisters and I have been texting through a group text.  The other day I sent a text asking who would be willing to come to Nordstroms and help me with Logan and Dallon while I shopped for a few things.  To my surprise, they all wanted to help in some way.  So we decided to make a lunch date out of it.  I really didn't expect to have almost everyone show.  The only one who couldn't make it was Christine.  We sure missed her!  But we all met at Nordstroms Cafe and had a great lunch.  And afterward did some shopping.  I am so lucky to have 7 amazing women in my life.  And even luckier they are my sisters.  They are my best friends.  I know that at any given moment, I can call them and they will be there to help or to just listen.  Plus they pass down clothes and have amazing fashion sense.  :)  Friends come and go....but sisters are for life!  And I got the best ones!

Keli and Kay

Yesterday afternoon we got together with Das's family in Holladay to celebrate Keli and Aunt Kay's birthdays.  It was so great to see everyone and as always, Mirabai brought some delicious food.

Funny I didn't even get a picture of Keli.:(  Happy birthday Keli and Kay!

OUCH!

Saturday night while Das and I were trying to get our dinner on the grill...Logan wanted to play.  So I asked Tristan and Ashton to take him on a walk around our circle a couple of times.  I strapped him into his stroller, and off they went.  I saw them pass the house a couple of times and it looked like Logan was having a blast.  They began to run with him.  After a minute I realized I hadn't seen them pass the house, so I went to check on them.  Tristan was carrying Logan and Ashton was pushing an empty stroller.  Apparently while running, the stroller hit a bump and the stroller flipped forward.  Logan has some nice scratches down his leg and arm...and this beautiful black eye.  He was a tough little man though.

Tummy Time

Dallon had his 6 week check a couple of weeks ago.  He went from the 6 percentile all the way up to 37th.  He is growing so fast.  starting to coo a little more and I even got him to laugh the other night.  The doctor said to start doing tummy time, and so far he loves it.  Logan likes to climb down and play with him.  Dallon is all smiles with Logan.  You can already tell these two are going to be great friends.
