These pictures were taken from our backyard. This one was around 4:00 when the fire hadn't gone over the mountain yet.
This is the moon taken around 6. The sun was still up.
This was still early in the evening, but I couldn't get a good pic with the flash. The fire just coming over the mountain. By the end of the night, it had consumed the whole side.
This was taken the same time as the one above.
This was around 10. You can't see the mountain, but the fire is burning in the middle of it.

The last days?
What a tragedy! We were just outside the evacuation zone. I drove up through Herriman before it came over the mountain and it was creepy. My heart goes out to those who lost their homes.
