Loving My New Ride....

Das and I knew that after the baby, we were going to need a bigger car.  Especially if we are planning on having one more baby.  The Saturn has been great, but it was getting way to squishy in back.  Plus I hated driving a stick shift.  And, it didn't have the towing capacity that we will eventually need in the future.  So, we weren't sure what kind of car to get.  After Das did some research, he came across the Chevy Traverse.  Not quite the minivan and still not a Suburban.  Right in between.  It doesn't get as great of mileage as the Vue or Minivans but is better than the Suburbans/Yukon's.  It can tow more than the minivans, but not as much as the Suburban.

These cars are fairly newer, so we were having a tough time coming across one for sale that had all our requirements for a new car.  We found a ton in white, which is the only color I didn't want.
We finally came across this one in black.  I had to have bucket seats.  The leather seats weren't a necessity, but it definitely doesn't hurt.;)

It also has a DVD player with headphone. And two sun roofs.
Winning!
It fits nicely in our already crammed garage.
And lots of space in front and throughout the whole car.  All though, the Saturn/Suburban/Minivans, do have more space in back for luggage etc.  But the Traverse has a larger back than most other midsized SUV's.  I am loving my new car!  I haven't had a new car in over 5 years.  Thanks Das!
BTW....my Saturn is up for sale for anyone interested in a good gar.  2005 VUE with only 45,000 miles on it.  In great condition, and gets great gas mileage.  Let anyone and everyone know.
