Tristan Turns 7!!!!!!

Tomorrow is Tristan's birthday.  I can't believe I will have a seven year old.  Time sure does fly.
He really wanted a birthday party this year instead of a big present.  And he really wanted to go to a place with bounce houses.  We called around, and decided on Classic Fun Center.
So we sent out some invites to his friends at school, his cousins, and a few in his primary class.  Das came home early to help me out.

Classic not only has bounce houses with lots of great slides, but they also have a jungle area, laser tag, a combat zone, and skating.

After the kids ran around crazy for a couple of hours, we ordered pizza.  And it was actually decent.

Then all the rambunctious kids gathered around for Tristan to open his presents.  He got lots of really great gifts and has been entertained for days.  Thank you everyone for your gifts and coming to the party.
My brother Mark, sister Christine, and Hunters father all hung out while the kids played.  Don't they look like they are having so much fun?! ;)
Tristan is such a bright and loving child.  He amazes me everyday by how kind and caring he is to others, especially his younger brothers.  They both just adore him.  He loves to sit with Das and watch football and always makes sure he is routing for the team Das is.  He helps me tremendously with Logan and loves to make him smile.  He has been such a joy in our lives and we love him very much!  My days are bright with him around.  Happy Birthday Tristan!

U.S. Prime

Das took me up to Prime Steak House in Park City last night.  We had tried to go the weekend before, but with conference, it was hard to find a sitter. And the next couple of weekends were already filled up for us, so luckily our cute neighbor girls came and sat for us last night. Our reservations were at 6:30, and as usual, we were running  late.  We got there around 7:00 with our mouths watering.   We started out with an apetizer.  We wanted the crab bisque, but our waiter talked us out of it.  He brought us a sample instead, and then talked us into the crab cakes.   Delicious!  We then each order a salad.  Das went with the fancy house salad, and I went with a goat chesse/tomato salad.  Mine had caremalized walnuts, goat cheese smooshed in between tomatoes, with a vinagerette dressing.  I was in heaven.  For dinner I ordered the salmon and Das got the filet.  Mine was fantastic, and Das's was over the top/best steak ever!  It had real crab...not the imitation crab...covering it.  Our side was grilled asparagus.  We were way to stuffed for our dessert.  We left with our tummies poking out and some take home cheese cake.  We will definitely be going back there some day.  Thanks Das again for a wonderful night.  I am truly the luckiest woman alive!

When they ar not being MONSTERS....

They eat candy.
They climb over the couches while their dads and brothers are watching football.
They need haircuts.
They cuddle up with mommy.
They lounge out anywhere and everywhere.
They store food for the winter.
They take over mommies and daddies bed.
Most importantly....They Laugh!

Craft Night and Fall Fun

First I must say how much we love our neighborhood.  We have made so many great friends, and they always have fun stuff going on.  My good friend Jen wanted to put together a craft night once a month.
Within two days she had it all set up.  I showed up and was amazed out how great things were put together so quickly.  She had tables all set to go with the craft ready and even food to eat.  Plus our kids could come as well.
These are the two crafts we made.  Candy Corns and an awseom witch sign.  I love them and so exctied for the next craft night!
This is another friend in our neighborhood Shellie and her two adorable kids.
Last week she invited a bunch of us to a halloween party at her house.  Tristan was a school, but Ashton had a blast.  They had set up a bounce house and tables for some kids crafts and food.
The kids decorated pumpkins, ate mummy hot dogs, and lots of candy.  What a fun day!
And it was so nice to get together with the ladies and just relax while the kids played.  Luckily the weather was good and the rain held off until everyone left.

THANKS Jen and Shellie for having us and putting together such fun times for all!

Salt to Saint

A couple weeks back Das was part of a bike relay team that was sponsored by his work. They rode from Salt Lake to St. George. 425 miles in all, 25 hours straight. Eight riders and each had three legs. Total for each rider was about 60 miles. Das said he had a lot of fun but lost feeling in his nether region for about a week. Lol. Here is a link to a video of their adventure.

BLING BLING PUMPKINS

So I am addicted to Pinterest.com.  I have found some really great things on there and I am enjoying trying some of them out.  I came across glitter pumpkins last week, and I couldn't wait to try them.  I searched several stores for the right glitter and pumpkins.  I finally found Martha Stewart Glitter.
I then purchased some small real pumpkins, and one cheap fake one.  I tried it out first on the fake one.
The first one is the far right pink one.  It turned out really cute.  I then realized it would be best to do fake pumpkins all together so that I could use them next year.  So I let the boys choose some glitter....my least favorite colors....and they glittered the real pumpkins.  The two blue ones in the picture.  I obviously touched them up, but they did a wonderful job overall for as long as they stayed entertained, which wasn't long.  If only I had a girl.;)
I then purchased a large real pumpkin and large fake one.  The real one I spray painted and then glittered a J for Jettie.  The fake one turned out the best.  I am really happy with them and still have lots of glitter left for next year.
Happy Fall Everyone!

Baby Motzart....Logan

Logan has shown lots of interest in playing the piano as well.
