Cabin Fever Part 1

Thursday night we headed up to our cabin for the weekend.  We have been trying to get up there all summer, but have been way to busy with other things.  But I am glad we were able to go this weekend, and the weather was perfect.  After we unloaded the car and settled in, we climbed into our beds to get some sleep for our relaxing weekend.
Friday morning the boys started to explore outside.  I was a little nervous letting them out at first because of the bear that my sister and her family saw on the back porch a few weeks ago.  But we had so many cows around the first night, that we didn't even see a deer.  So we put the salt lick out hoping to see some wild life.

Das and I started to prepare to grill out for when our friends showed up Friday evening.  This is what Das found when he lifted the lid to the grill. Gross!  Doesn't anyone know how to clean out a grill? lol
I took so many dang pictures of Logan.  He was so content to just hang out on the floor while Tristan and Ashton ran around.  He is always smiling!
Friday afternoon we headed into Kamas to grab a few things for dinner.  I wanted to look around for some cowboy hats for the boys too.  We stopped at a country store next to the shake place.  The hats were a little to pricey for me.  So we went with bandanna's instead.  After that, we stopped in the shake store for lunch. Tasty burgers!  Then we headed back to the cabin to wait for the Love's and Williams.

In the meantime, I snapped picture after picture of little Logan.  He was so good to let me play around with the bandanna on his head.

                                                                       Look at those eyes!

Das scrapped the grill out to avoid it going up in flames.
The salt lick attracted the cows, so we eventually brought it back in for the night.  Das had already shoveled up poop and didn't want to do more.
It was just gorgeous up there.  The cows are not suppose to be by the cabin but some how they always seem to show up.  After several neighboring cabins complained, we didn't see them any more for the rest of the weekend.  The Loves showed up around 6 and we put our brats on to grill.  Then the Williams came around 8.  8 children, 6 adults, and lots of fun!
